On July 29th, The Lost and Found had the privilege of stepping into the halls of Northeast Florida State Hospital in Macclenny to bring a message of hope, healing, and connection to its residents. This marked the beginning of what will now be a monthly outreach effort—and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Northeast Florida State Hospital is a secure mental health facility serving individuals from all across the state. Behind the walls and security checkpoints are people—people navigating some of life’s most difficult mental and emotional battles. The staff work tirelessly to provide clinical care and structure, but as you can imagine, the spiritual and emotional needs are just as deep.

Each month, The Lost and Found will continue to bring a team to host a church service from The Church of Eleven22. We offer a time of worship through music, scripture readings, a short message of encouragement, prayer, and fellowship. We also come bearing snacks—small comforts that go a long way in reminding these residents that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

It’s not flashy, but it is sacred.

We know that healing comes in many forms, and sometimes it begins with the simple act of sitting together in worship or offering a friendly smile over a bag of chips.
